Mr. Parker joined Southport Capital in 2001. He began his investment career at Merrill Lynch in 1996 and also served as Vice President of Trust Investments at SunTrust Bank. Before initiating his investment career, Mr. Parker enjoyed success as a Major League baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, and Seattle Mariners. Mr. Seiler has been the President and Chief Investment Officer of Southport Capital since 2001. Before that, he managed over $550 million in assets as head of Trust Investments for SunTrust Bank and began his investment career in 1987 as a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch. Prior to becoming an investment professional, Mr. Seiler spent 21 years in the United States Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Mr. Woods joins Southport Capital in 2008. He began his investment career at Merrill Lynch in 1981. He has had an extensive career of money management at Bear Sterns, Shearson Lehman Brothers, Cralin & Co., Inc., Robinson-Humphrey Co., LLC, CIBC World Markets Corporation, with his last nineteen years being spent at Oppenheimer & Co. Mr. Little began his investment advisor career with Merrill Lynch in 1981. Prior experience included being President of a small college. He has also spent time as a broker and portfolio manager with Lehman Brothers and Oppenheimer and Company. With over 20 years of investment experience, Mr. Little joined Southport Capital in January of 2009 to head up the marketing efforts. He received a Bachelor Degree in Finance from the University of Georgia. Mr. Davis recently joined the team at Southport Capital in May 2009. After having an All-American career in football at Georgia Tech, John went on to play in the NFL with the Houston Oilers and the Buffalo Bills where he was part of history, playing in the Super Bowl four straight years. After retiring in 1995 John went back home to Ellijay, GA, where he was born and raised and went into private business utilizing his studies in Industrial Management. Most recently John has been working in the employee leasing and compensation field in the Atlanta area prior to joining Southport Capital.
