Vanessa Mowrer

Vanessa is the Administrative Manger for the Southport Capital office in Canton, Ohio. Vanessa joined Brookshire Wealth Management in a full-time capacity in 2009. For the past twelve years Vanessa has excellent and professional service to the clients of Brookshire Wealth Management and will continue to build upon that legacy as a member of Southport Capital. Prior to joining Brookshire Wealth Management, Vanessa served as a logistics/supply manager for PSA Airlines, where she was responsible for supporting the maintenance of a fleet of 130 aircraft. She currently holds an Ohio life and health insurance license and completed the Series 7 and Series 63 examinations while a member of Brookshire Wealth Management.

An accomplished musician, Vanessa shares her talents as a singer/songwriter at regional venues such as coffee shops, wineries, churches, and special events. She has had the opportunity to record her original music while working with some of the industry’s elite studio musicians at The Sound Kitchen in Nashville. Vanessa also has a passion for repurposing furniture, “rescuing” antiques, and gardening.

She has three daughters and five grandchildren and lives in Clinton, Ohio.

Robert Lachica, CFP®

Robert graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA majoring in marketing. After retiring from a successful career with American Airlines, Robert joined Fortune Financial Services, LLC in 2006. Robert received his securities and insurance licenses in 2006 and his Certified Financial Planner designation in 2009. In 2011, he left Fortune Financial Services to help start Wealth Management Group, LLC where he now serves as Director of Operations.

Robert is a member of the Financial Planning Association and has lived in the DFW area for many years with his wife Diana. He enjoys traveling, physical fitness, and bird watching, but most of all, helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Manita Lam, CPA CFP®

Manita graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. She is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas and has over 20 years of experience in the field. She has worked in a variety of corporate positions at major companies including; American Airlines, Sabre, and Global Knowledge, Inc.

Manita operates and manages a CPA firm in Allen. As a CPA, Manita has specialized in working with Individuals, Partnerships, Corporations, LLC’s., and S Corporations. Client services range from preparing income tax returns to developing a comprehensive financial plan that examines every aspect of the client’s financial position, strategies, goals, and growth opportunities.

Manita is a member of the Allen Sunrise Rotary Club. She also participates regularly in community service projects and organizations, and is member of various local running clubs.

Manita lives in Allen. She enjoys spending time with her two children, family and friends, traveling, and maintaining her health and physical fitness. She has completed many half and full marathons and competes in Spartan races. She continually strives to challenge herself both physically and her career.

Henry Lessner, CFP®

Henry graduated from Texas A&I University with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering. He was in the telecommunications industry for over 30 years, most notably leading MCI (now Verizon) to start, develop, and expand its vast global voice, data, and Internet network. Henry received his securities and insurance licenses in 2005 and his Certified Financial Planner designation in 2008. Henry joined Fortune Financial Services, LLC in 2005 and in 2011, left to help start Wealth Management Group, LLC.

Henry has previously served as President of the Allen/Fairview Chamber of Commerce, President of the Arts of Collin County Foundation, and is a founding Board member of the Allen Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra. He served as a Board member of the Allen Community Outreach for 11 years, twice as Board President, and was Co-Chair of ACO’s capital campaign.

Henry has recently served three terms on the Fairview Town Council. He was selected as Mayor Pro-Tem for two of those terms. Henry is a former Club President of the Allen Sunrise Rotary Club and is now the founding President of the new Fairview Rotary Club. He serves as an advisor to the Allen Library Endowment Board and the Samaritan Inn Endowment Board. He also works with the Garden Club at Caldwell Elementary School in McKinney.

Henry is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Allen having served in many lay leadership positions including Administrative Council Chair, Lay Leader, Staff-Parish Relations Chair, Evangelism Chair, Finance Committee Chair, and was co-chair of a building expansion committee. He currently serves as Chair of the Endowment Committee and is on the Evangelism Committee. Henry sings in the chancel choir and leads an adult Sunday School class. He also leads education courses offered through the church including Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. He previously served as the Lay Leader for the North Central District and Associate Lay Leader for the North Texas Annual Conference. Henry has also served the North Texas Annual Conference representing them at the 2012 and 2016 Jurisdictional and General Conferences.

Henry lives in Fairview with his wife Nancy. They have two adult children and five grandchildren who all live in McKinney. His outside interests include volunteering, reading, and hanging with his grandchildren.

Sharon Brazeal

Sharon Brazeal comes to Southport Capital with over 30 years of Executive Administration and Office Management experience. She has worked with such companies as Turner Broadcasting and Nortel Network. She spent 9 years at Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE) in roles such as supporting the CEO and project coordinator on an 85 million building renovation project.

Ryan Arasi

A native of Atlanta, he graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2008 with a degree in International Relations. He is currently working towards his CFP designation.

Julie Jones, FPQP®

Julie is a Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional and handles portfolio administration in the Atlanta branch of Southport Capital. She joined the firm in 2016, coming from Oppenheimer & Co where she was a Senior Client Services Associate for 5 years. She began her financial career in 1979 at Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb as a Registered Sales Assistant. Prior to joining Oppenheimer, she employed her knowledge and skill as a certified Consultant Group Analyst at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, working with high net worth clients. A native Californian, Julie attended Grossmont College and San Diego State where she obtained her Associate’s degree in Radio and Television Production. After relocating to the Atlanta area, she continued her education at Kennesaw State University where she studied Secondary Math and Science Education. She holds her General Securities Representative License (Series 7), the Uniform Securities Agent State Exam (Series 63), Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam (Series 66) and Insurance/Annuity Licenses.

She’s been married 26 years and has 2 adult sons. She unwinds in the evenings and weekends by either riding motorcycles with her husband and friends or by creating whimsical, yet functional pottery that can be found in galleries in Georgia and Kentucky. She also is active in her church and church choir.

Iris Israel

lris has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. lris began her career with Dean Witter Reynolds in Tampa, Florida and then with Paine Webber in Mission Viejo, California where she worked with a top Municipal Bond trader. Most recently, she was a Senior Financial Associate at Oppenheimer & Co. in Atlanta, Georgia for 23 years. She has extensive Client Service relationship experience and the necessary skills for Compliance.

Iris is married to John Israel, and they have 2 grown sons with families in Utah and San Diego. lris studied Marine Science at Temple University and was planning for a career in that industry, but life took her in another direction. She is currently active in Equine and Canine Rescue with Save the Horses and Golden Rescue of Atlanta, she also enjoys cooking, dancing and the beach.

Kevin Beahan

As a Registered Investment Advisor, Kevin takes pride in learning his clients’ individual goals and building out a personalized investment strategy to get there. Based on more than 15 years of financial experience, Kevin educates his clients on the risks and the rewards of each financial choice to, together, create the best portfolio to achieve their long-term aspirations.

Originally from New York, Kevin brings expertise from some of the nation’s top financial institutions including Merrill Lynch, Edward Jones, and Credit Suisse to his portfolio of clients at Southport Capital. He understands that each client is unique with individual goals and draws on his knowledge to craft integrated wealth management plans to help them reach their financial targets.

Kevin and his wife Stephanie live in Smyrna, Georgia with their two dogs Kirra and Lucy. He enjoys travel, cooking, exploring new cultures and is an avid road biker. Through The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program, Kevin has raised more than $10,000 for blood cancer research and has participated in 3 century (100-mile) road bike races.

Conrad Levesque, CPA CFP®

Conrad is a Certified Financial Planner and Certified Public Account. He attended Kennesaw State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. He went on to earn an additional degree, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, before receiving his CPA designation. In addition to his position as financial advisor with Southport Capital, Conrad is also President of Levesque & Associates, a tax advisory and accounting firm located in Historic Marietta, GA.

After more than a decade in the tax and accounting, Conrad expanded his services to include consulting and financial planning, focusing primarily on individuals and small to medium-sized businesses. He believes in the value of a comprehensive financial plan, methodically evaluating each client’s life goals, risk tolerance, investment goals, retirement objectives, and estate needs. He leverages his extensive understanding of tax law and application to not only help clients reach goals but mitigate any tax impact. Though Conrad enjoys helping any client that he can, his advisory and tax practices specialize in:
