Bruce has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, focusing on equity management and portfolio asset allocation strategies. Prior to joining Brookshire Wealth Management, he was the Managing Director and Investment Strategist at Citigroup’s Private Bank headquartered in New York City. There, Bruce was responsible for the firm’s investment business in the Northeast region of the US and personally managed a multi-billion dollar portfolio of investment assets while also serving on the firm’s senior management committee. Prior to joining Citi Private Bank, Bruce served as a Senior Vice President of Portfolio Advisory Services in the private banking division of Bank of America.
Bruce returned to his hometown of Canton, Ohio and joined Brookshire Wealth Management in 2018 as Vice President and Director of Research, assuming the responsibility for client relationships, portfolio management, and the oversight of the firm’s strategic and tactical investment portfolios. Bruce continues in that role with Southport Capital and will serve as a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Bruce earned a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a Master’s degree in management from Case Western Reserve University. He also holds the highly prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Bruce enjoys travel, music, fitness training, and economic history. His true passion, however, remains with sharing the economic benefits available through the equity markets and the wealth-building opportunities these markets provide to his clients. Bruce is also active in providing personal coaching and career-mentoring to inter-city students in Canton.
